Happy New Year to you too, Jennifer! Your enthusiasm is infectious!

All of your plans sound great and I can’t wait to see them in due course. I’m particularly looking forward to your Connoisseur Kids book coming out.

Hi Jennifer!

I am writing because I am expecting my first child in April. I have been scouring your blog for advice, (thank you for the maternity/pregnancy posts!) specifically about which baby products you found most useful for your baby's first year. I would appreciate any advice, as there are so many options and some products are quite expensive.

Thank you, and Happy New Year!

Warmly,
Rachel Coughlin

Hi Jennifer!

Happy New Year! I would like to know your secrets on how to keep everything together. As the CEO of a household ( and the secretary assistant, let's face it) , It's hard to keep everyone on track, let alone yourself! You always have a sense of calm about you, but I know you are also juggling many tasks at one, wearing many hats ( homeschooling, author/business woman, wife and mother, not to mention other obligations outside the house). What are some time management & organization skills so one does not go insane! Thanks Jennifer!

PS: one thing I already do that you recommend is the 10 item wardrobe, even though mine is about 20 since we live in a climate that fluctuates quite a bit. I find that advice an essential part of my sanity makeover! I'm also thinking of applying to other areas, such as meals, websites I like, appliances, hobbies, even relationships LOL!

Thank you, Jennifer! A weekly walk thru each chapter of "At Home" or "Poise" would be terrific and give a reason redress everything with my favorite author. Bon Jour!

Wishing a very healthy and happy 2018! Looking forward to your upcoming videos. Would like to see a tour video of your new home. In your connoisseur kids books, I would also like to see a chapter about kids visiting homes of relatives or friends. Some preschoolers can get pretty excited and wild when visiting and I would like your thoughts on how, as a hostess, to deal with them. I like to set some limits but sometimes my rules are not as “free spirited” as the parents would like. Thank you!

Jennifer,

Thank you for an uplifting and inspiring New Year video!

I'm very interested in knowing how you maintain energy and motivation being a young mother and having a lot on your plate; how you organize your days while being flexible with small children and their needs.

Looking forward to all of your content this year!!

Hi Jennifer!

Happy New Year and thank you for the exciting video! I didn't know that you were homeschooling your girls. That's wonderful! Can you tell us why you decided to do so? Also, can you share what curriculum you use? Especially helpful would be a day in the life of you working from home and homeschooling your children.

I'm a stay at home Mom to a 3 year old and a 2 month old and I want to start a home business plus homeschool but I'm intimidated by the prospect of doing both. Quite frankly, it scares me that I would have to drop something (my business) becaue I won't be able to juggle it all and keep everyone happy (family and clients).

Please let me know how you manage your time/share any hacks so that you have enough hours to instruct your children properly AND give your best to start, grow, and manage your business without compromising what matters most.

You are showing me that it can be done so I would truly appreciate your advice because I definitely want to make things happen in 2018!

Thank you and I wish you and your family a Happy, Healthy and Blessed New Year!

Hi Jennifer! Happy new year to you! I'm looking forward to the Mapp and Lucia book club. My husband and I read aloud Miss Mapp to each other over the past couple months, and he found it as delightful and hilarious and I did! We are excited to read the next two books together too.

In the wake of Christmas, I am hoping you can address the topic of what to do with unwanted gifts. While I am touched and want to recognize the thoughtfulness of the giver, I am not sure what to do with gifts that I know will never be used - kitchen items, books, etc. (For myself and my children.) It seems ungrateful and maybe even inappropriate to send the item straight to the donation bin. What do you do with such gifts?

I also love the idea of a weekly walk through of a chapter of one of your books. I enjoy them so much.

As a final word, I have to tell you that my two girls are really enjoying your channel as well. They come running if they hear your voice and when I recently watched an older "Teatime with Jennifer" video, they asked me to pause it so we could make ourselves cups as well and enjoy tea with you! I of course complied.

Have a blessed new year! Thanks for your hard work!

Jennifer! I missed you!!! I just viewed your new video and I can say you are a true inspiration. I was starting my week on the wrong foot after battling with the flu this weekend. But after watching you and hearing you say you were praying for energy and help, I noticed that I have not done that yet. You got me inspired to pray and to get focused on today! Thank you!
I love your plans for the channel and can’t wait to hear what you have to say on those subjects.
As a request... I would love to know if you are a paper planner kind of girl... if you use one and how do you manage your time in order to accomplish everything you do and still look presentable always.
My best wishes for you and your family this year!

Dear Jennifer,

I'm so glad you're back! I missed your posts! I enjoyed a great holiday break as well. Your upcoming topics sound wonderful. My favorite topics are wardrobe, recipes, debt-free living, time management and books. In short, I am looking forward to all of it!

Warm best,
Alexandra

I am thrilled that you plan on sharing your fitness routine with us. I have been struggling with the time it takes (exercise!) to conquer the tummy bulge since having my first child 13 years ago. You've inspired me in so many other ways, maybe your fitness ideas will be the magic one. If not, at least it will be fun to know.

I love your cooking videos too. It's a daily chore that we all have to do and it's so mundane, but you make it look so easy!

Someone here mentioned a weekly walk-through of a chapter in your books. That's a fantastic idea!

Looking forward to 2018!!

Warm regards.

Hi Jennifer!

Yesterday I gave my annual Epiphany Sunday Tea Party for my daughters and daughters-in-law. There are six in total. Our theme was the "Ten Item Wardrobe" and we watched your Ted Talk. Before watching the Ted Talk, we had fun doing a little quiz to see if our skin tones were warm or cool, and then we talked about what colors worked best with our skin tones. As a party favor, I gave each of the girls a copy of "Lessons from Madame Chic". It was a great afternoon of promoting the Daily Connoisseur lifestyle!

Happy New Year!
Elizabeth

Please do a video tour of your new home. Especially how you have organized the Inside of drawers, cupboards and closets.

I’m looking forward to these upcoming posts, especially the one about your writing success story! I love what you’re doing —showing us how to prioritize and appreciate our home lives more — and I wish you all the best with your projects this year!

Hi Jennifer,

To piggyback on Rachel's comment, I'll be expecting my first child in May and would love to hear your tips and ideas on being a healthy and happy first time mama!

Welcome back as I've truly missed your posts and videos. Happy new year and may 2018 be a great one for all of us.

I'd also love to hear advice on this! As much as I love being ignored or being stabbed with a pencil... by little visiting guest.
Also any advice on how to handle smoking guest if you have a none smoking house?

Thanks! Can't wait for all you have planned for us fellow connoisseurs this year!

Hi Jennifer,

thank you so much for this lovely video. I am so happy that the book club will continue. The last round sparked my joy in reading good books again.
Regarding the future Conoisseur with Kids book, I would love a section about only children.

I wish you and your Family a great 2018,

Katrin

Inspired by the Madame Chic books and the no make-up look, I am the owner of an eye lash curler. (Christmas request) How do I use it? I am afraid to say that despite the finishing school classes I had as a young lady, I am clueless. The only thing I remember is, "use it before the mascara." My no make-up look includes powder, mascara, and lip stick. I'd prefer to buy a transfer resistant lipstick but I can't find those any longer. Am I looking in the wrong place?

Hi Jennifer, I've been following your blog and channel for a few years now, and you've inspired me so much. I'm a stay at home mom to two little girls, an almost four year old and a ten month old baby. My question is how do you manage to carve out time to do your blog, youtube, AND write books along with everything else you do for your family? Between mornings being filled with rushing out the door to preschool or an activity or the playground, lunchtime and afternoon naps (which the kids never do at the same time), and the mess that is trying to cook and eat dinner, clean up, and get the kids to bed, there is little to no time to even find a few minutes to pursue a hobby or read a book, much less try to write the novel I've been working on for four years. I'd stay up late to do it, but by the time my oldest finally falls asleep (usually between 9:30 and 10:00!) I'm exhausted. Did I mention that I also set an alarm and get up early just so I can shower and get presentable for the day? I've tried to simplify my life as much as I can, but I still feel run ragged. Is it just the baby stage? I'd love some inspiration on how I can carve time out for myself during the day, because my children don't give me any!

I personally have found the best transfer proof lipstick to be Lipsense. I am *not* connected with the company in any way, shape, or form, but I like to pass along the tip when I can because my husband no longer has to wipe lipstick off his face! ;)
